Ngwerume is a classic leader associated with a high level of integrity, professionalism and ethics. He is regarded as a thought leader in financial leadership, a student of Professor Ralph Stacey (world renowned thought leader on chaos and complexity theories). Ngwerume is also recognized as one of the most outstanding business leaders to come out of Africa in the first decade in the 21st century, resulting in a live interview during prime time by the leading global business TV channel, CNBC in December 2011. Regarded as an exceptional business leader in Global Old Mutual and is credited with the successful preservation of Old Mutual Zimbabwe during the “lost decade”, its quick recovery and rapid growth post “dollarization” of the country`s currency.
Ngwerume is well networked across the globe and often involved in discussions with individuals and international organisations seeking opinions on the Zimbabwe business environment. Mr Ngwerume holds a BA degree (UCT) and an MBA. He is a Member of the Institute of Management Services (UK).
