The IDBZ has been mandated to mobilise funds towards costs of developing tertiary students and academic medical staff and students accommodation and related facilities and intends to use part of the proceeds towards payments for consultancy services under this programme.
IDBZ is in the process of concluding the purchase of various properties for the development and construction of state of the art accommodation for health sector, academic staff/students and offices across the country.
The goal of the assignment is to improve the Bank’s tracking of infrastructure projects with particular emphasis on the outputs of the Results Measurement Framework (RMF) in line with its Medium Term Strategy (MTS) with regards to infrastructure development.
The Hwange Local Board (HLB) sought the Infrastructure Development Bank’s (IDBZ’s) financial support in the servicing of 2,000 high density residential stands and the rehabilitation of a 1.08ML/day waste water treatment plant in the Empumalanga suburb.
The project is located at the Osborne Dam and the site is located approximately 35km from Mutare and 80km from Rusape. The project sponsor is Manako Power Private Limited whose management is led by Engineer Shadreck Mandiopera.
